Meet COTE Resort, one of the new treasures of Dipaculao, Aurora.
We arrived on a Thursday. We loved the resort and wanted to extend our stay the whole weekend, but they were fully booked.
Why we love this place? The team in place are all very nice. They took very good care of us. The place doesn’t feel like a resort; it feels like a home-away-from-home. Let the photos here speak for themselves 🙂
That’s the beauty of traveling. You get actual visuals of your dreams! This is like my dream beach house. Quiet, raw, peaceful. So far I have only found three places that gives me such feeling of dejavu. Whispering Brook in Australia, home Tita Emma in Antipolo – The Frogglerock, and this new place!
It is never crowded since there are only 6 container cabins. We love the exclusivity, the quietness, and the fact that we have the beach all to ourselves. We brought in our key Company personnel for our Annual Summer Outing and everyone had a blast with the unlimited surf lessons. Perfect for beginners as you fall on fine sand when you fall off the surf board. Everyone tried to surf the whole time we were on the beach.
We also love the drink-all-you-can coconut juice. The lunch and dinner were surprisingly yummy. Most outstanding is how all the staff are very kid/baby friendly! The cabins are equipped with everything we need.
They planted different colors of bougainvillea beside each container room. We can’t wait to see these beauties grow. I can imagine it framing the cabin with its beautiful colorful flowers. The beach is not white-sand, it’s gray but very fine. Feels so nice on the feet.
We would love to come back again, hike to the Mother Falls, see the Millennial Tree. They said you’ll need 60 people to encircle the trunk of the tree. I also know for a fact that this part of the Philippines holds a lot of hidden gems – waterfalls, rivers, caves, powdery white-sand beach coves, and more. We used to come here a lot on missions when I was younger, and we were lucky to explore many of the beautiful Islands. There is one particular island I would love to bring my family to. It is five hours away by boat, so maybe when the kids are bigger.
And hey, this is not a paid nor a sponsored post. In fact, we paid for all the rooms, food, and did not even get a discount. Haha we love the place so much that we would encourage all our friends to visit this place. It took us 5 hours by car going, and 7 hours going back to Manila due to multiple stops. We kept on stopping for woven baskets, local produce, and handicrafts.
How to get there: WAZE is your best friend!
