This March is Prom & Graduation Ball Season again; and most parents want to make their sons / daughters looking polish for the night of their lives. Of course, any prom or graduation ball outfit wouldn’t be complete without corsages or boutonnières. Some even buy bouquets for their special date. However, buying those from retail stores will be costly, especially when you go the extravagant flower arrangements.
As an advocate for pursing creativity, and taking things into your hands, School of Styling Philippines’ launched its Bouquet, Corsage, and Boutonnière Making workshop last March 5, 2016 at the Glorietta 5 Atrium. It was a full house; having 3 batches learn how to make wrist corsages, boutonnières, and bouquets from She Dreams In Ink‘s Indy Ycasiano, and basic photography lessons from Geunice Burgos of LightKeeper Studios. Participants were provided a flower buffet, along with materials and embellishments to suit the arrangement they envisioned for themselves, and to add a personal oomph to ’em. Here’s a sneak peak of what went on that day:
Here are the wonderful batches that joined us:

Again, we are eternally grateful to everyone who has been very supportive of this! We’ll be having another one on April 2, 2016, that will sway away from flowers for a change. We hope to meet new people, and see familiar faces there. ‘Til the next one!
